1/2 cup organic popcorn kernels
1/2 teaspoon coconut oil
Place the popcorn kernels and oil in a lunch size brown paper bag. Fold the bag top down and microwave for 1 to 2 minutes or until there is 2-3 seconds between pops. Err a little on the side of unpopped kernels to prevent scorching. When you notice the popping beginning to slow down, it’s time to stop the microwave. It’s also important not to leave the popcorn unattended while it cooks. It doesn’t take long for it to go from popping to smoldering, and it’s not worth the risk of setting your microwave on fire by walking away from it while it’s running. Try drizzling a little olive oil and sprinkling a little bit of Old Bay Seasoning on your cooked popcorn for a tasty treat.
